1. What brought you to Crossfit?
My husband had talked about doing Crossfit for years. After moving to Florida and having our third baby. We decided to give it a try.
2. How has Crossfit helped you become a stronger person both physically and mentally?
I’ve learned new ways to push though things when it gets hard. Coming from a running background strength was never something I had. I’ve improved a lot the past 2 years.
3. What is your favorite part about working out at the box?
I love the willingness to help and give advice that I get when I’m there. I’ve met a lot of wonderful people at the box. I’m very grateful for that. Also, Being able to have my kids there with me while I workout is so important. This box not only welcomes my kids, but let’s them work out with us.
4. If you could tell one person that has never been to the box, one reason they should come, what would that be?
I would just tell them that it’s not as intimidating as it seems. The community is so positive and supportive. Crossfit is great for anyone that has a hard time figuring out a workout routine or simply finding the motivation to workout.
I grew up in Southern California. I played tennis, ran cross country and track in high school. I met my husband on my Jr. college track team. We got married 6 years later. 🙂 We have a 7, 5 and 3 year old…and one on the way (due November 6th). We moved to south Florida in 2013. 2014 we moved to Savannah GA, and in 2015 we moved to Orlando. Hopefully we are here to stay.
