1. What brought you to Armor CrossFit ?
I started Crossfit at a Box across town because a friend of mine coached there. The drive was getting too far since I live in Windermere. I tried three Boxes on our side of town and was immediately attracted to Armor becuase of the atmosphere and the people. Everyone was so down to earth and I just felt at home.2. How has Armor CrossFit helped you become a stronger person both physically and mentally?
2. How has Armor CrossFit helped you become a stronger person both physically and mentally?
Armor has helped me become a stronger person in many ways. Physically the programming has helped me get stronger and obtain goals I never thoughts I could do. I like the programming because it offers a variety of levels from training for a competition to jumping into a class. With having a background in teaching “group fitness” the last 20 plus years I believe this is important. Jeremy’s programming allows one to push ourselves beyond what we think we can do. Mentally, Armor has helped me in many ways. Being a single mom is hard in itself. I believe Armor has not only helped me grow as an individual, it has helped me become a better mom. I love that kids are welcome at the box It is so important to many of us parents, especially single parents. Being able to accomplish more physically as an individual is always a motivator to anyone. But it is also the people that have really helped me grow mentally. From the hugs, smiles, get togethers, parties, and conversations, the Armor Family provides mental support to myself and I believe many. I believe it has helped my son grow as well Kai has always gone with me to workout since he was three, but he had to go into a “child care.” Here he gets to see what working out is all about and gain a new respect for why I do this.
3. What is your favorite part about working out at the box?
My favorite part of working out at the box is the community, energy and motivation you feel when you walk through the door.
4. If you could tell one person that has never been to the box, one reason they should come, what would that be?
If I could tell one person the reason they should come is my answer to #3 for sure. In addition, you will gain internal and external strength.
